Manufactured from high strength mild steel strip, we have undergone extensive mechanical impact testing and it is proven to be able to withstand excessive structural abuse. Additionally, RMC couplings, elbows and nipples are available right through to 6” providing you with the complete supply solution.

Rigid Alumunium Conduit

Rigid Aluminium Conduit is one of our American Standard conduit products, manufactured in accordance with American National Standard Institute ANSI C80.5.  It is 1/3 the weight of your regular rigid steel conduit. It is be easier to handle and transport which leads to lower labour cost. Appearance wise, aluminium conduit has better outer appearance compared to rigid metal conduit.

The inside diameter as well as the thread of the hot deep galvanised conduit are sprayed with 2 mils of grey urethane . After preheating the conduit, it is rolled through liquid plactid, achieving complete coverage of 40 mils in thickness , without pinholes or bubbles.

When designing a structural lightning protection system using the Faraday Cage principle, it is possible to use one or more of a variety of available conductor systems; namely flat tape, solid circular or cable & wire (stranded).
The earth termination system is vital for the dispersion of lightning current safely and effectively into the ground. The standard  recommends a single integrated earth termination system for a structure, combining lightning protection, power and telecommunication systems. The agreement of the operating authority or owner of the relevant systems should be obtained prior to any bonding taking place.

Conductive Aggregate

Certain ground conditions make it difficult to obtain a reliable earth resistance, whilst particular installations may require a very low resistance. In such cases, conductive aggregate provides a convenient and permanent solution.
By adding it in place of sand and aggregate, to cement, a conductive concrete is formed.
